Rigorous Production & Prototype Testing
Hydraulic Technologies can engineer, design and build production cylinders for on-time deliveries and we have experience developing prototype cylinders quickly for field-testing and evaluation.
- Our test benches are all maintained to ISO 4406 minimum 17/14 cleanliness standards.
- Hydraulic Technologies' production and prototype cylinders are 100% pressure tested to meet customer specifications or tested to our standard requirements.
- Each cylinder must pass pressure and cycle testing specifications at pressures to 5000PSI depending on application requirements.
The testing procedure continues with an internal pressure bypass check and external weld and seal inspection to identify any potential leakage.- Valves are installed, if required, then torqued to specification and visually marked to verify proper installation.
- All cylinders are then date coded or serialized to provide positive field identification and most importantly material traceability.
- Finally, any prototype cylinder being tested is also validated through a first article inspection after the assembly process by engineering and our quality department prior to final release
