Our “lean manufacturing” processes include CNC machining centers, B&O’s for automated rod & barrel processing, rod end friction and inertia welding , robotic welding, semi-automatic welding lathes, two urethane capable paint lines and 5000psi rated test stands. Supported by the Ligon Hydraulic Cylinder Group’s centralized purchasing efforts, suppliers of raw materials and components are qualified to meet rigid traceability standards and delivery schedules and to meet “on-time” production requirements. This supplier development process also enhances collaboration with our engineers on new product development as well as internal continuous improvement goals.
